We brought the exhibition “Wir gegen Rassismus” and several hands-on activities to both sites of the Julius Wegeler School in Koblenz.

During the so-called “Colourful Break” on 27 August at the Karthause site, pupils were able to look at the exhibition, take a stand against racism themselves with a photo and a statement, and talk to one another about this important subject.

At the Beatusstraße site on 26 August, many classes also visited the exhibition, talked with pastoral officer Christopher Hoffmann from the “Wir gegen Rassismus” campaign and wrote statements against racism of their own.

The feedback from both days included: “An important subject — look, don’t look away!”, “A person is a person!” and “Everyone has feelings and should be treated with respect.”

Many thanks to the Julius Wegeler School for this wonderful initiative!
